Operatives of Nigeria’s secret police, Department of State Security, DSS are presently interrogating the wife and cousin of the spokesman of the Boko Haram, Abu Qaqal who were arrested with him in Kaduna in the early hours of Wednesday.
This is even as ireports-ng.com gathered that the boko haram spokesman who has been operating with the pseudonym, Abu Qaqal, is already cooperating with the security agents in the nation’s capital, Abuja.
A source in DSS this afternoon told ireports-ng.com that Qagal’s wife and cousin were being drilled separately to be able to extract sufficient information from them on how the dreaded sect operates,”after it was confirmed through series of interrogation of Qagal that he is actually the spokesman of the sect we have been looking for.”
The source further disclosed that all indicators point to the fact that Qagal is an Ebira man from Igala area of Kogi state, adding that”more investigations in the next 24 hours, especially analysis of his call logs and phone contacts will reveal some shocking findings about his identity and other top leaders of the group.”
A combined team of DSS operatives and soldiers had stormed Qagal’s hideout in Kaduna in the early hours of Wednesday. Qagal was said to have gone into hiding under his bed and left his wife and cousin to attend to the security agents. The wife who initially lied about the whereabouts of her husband however opened up when the security agents threatened to kill them if they discover she was lying to them. She later took the operatives to the bed where Qagal had wrapped himself under the bed like a luggage. He was eventually dragged out from there at about 4.20am local time and taken to Abuja along with his wife and cousin whose names are still being kept under wraps.
According to this report, Qaqal is an Ebira man from the Igala area of Kogi state, POC(point of correction) Ebira and Igala are 2 very distinct tribes. They only share same state(politicaly). Its just like saying a german man from the english area! Though this forum has an avid followership, it is pertinent to give facts as they are and not some lazy half cooked reports. Qaqal is either Ebira or Igala.

before i say jack robenson , this one now will run away. Is not to tell us that u useless security cought qagal that we are intrested in but how you keep us up to date on the results and how it all link to who ever is involve and even more bringing them to book or worse still if ur book is filled, put them in a pot to be roosted

Also turned out he is a coward who took delight in hiding behind a woman and justifying the killing of same and helpless children.
