Five Killed As Suicide Bomber Hits Police Convoy In Jalingo

Not less than five persons have been confirmed killed in Jalingo, the capital of Taraba state when a suicide bomber riding on a motorcycle rammed into the convoy of the state police commissioner, Mamman Sule.

The Jalingo attack which killed at least three policemen is coming barely 24 hours after gunmen suspected to be operatives of the militant Islamic sect, Boko haram attacked Christian Worshippers at the Bayero university, Kano where about 20 people are now feared dead.

Though the police commissioner, Sule survived the attack, a nearby market and the state ministry of finance were badly affected by the blast.
