Multiple Bomb Explosions Rock Churches In Borno, Jos…Scores Killed, Wounded

Multiple bomb explosions suspected to have been masterminded by the extremist Boko Haram sect have been reported in Biu, Borno state and Jos, Plateau state.

The explosion in Biu was said to have been carried out on a church by a suspected Boko haram suicide bomber while the one in Jos was said to have been launched on Christ Chosen Church along Rukuba Barracks road in the Plateau state capital, Jos.

Several christian worshippers were said to have been killed in the two attacks which were followed by sporadic gunshots

The Commissioner of Police in Plateau state, Emmanuel Ayeni, has confirmed the Jos explosion but declined to put a figure to the number of casualty.
