House Of Reps Member, Dayo Alebiosu Hit By Strange Ailment
A member of the federal House of Representatives, Hon Yacoob Ekundayo Bush-Alebiosu is currently fighting the battle of his life as the heir of the Busura Alebiosu political dynasty in Kosofe area of Lagos has been knocked down for months now by a strange ailment.
D-Bush, as he is popularly called in the Lagos political circle has not been able to join his colleagues in the green chamber of the National Assembly for several months now after efforts to find a medical solution to the sudden ailment proved abortive. According to sources within the Busura Alebiosu family, the lawmaker has to be kept indoors away from prying eyes of political foes as his head gets rotten day by day.
“I am compelled to tell you this with the hope that someone that may have a solution to this type of strange ailment might read of Dayo’s predicament and offer to assist because the decision by the family to just keep him indoors without any solution in sight might end up fatal”, a senior member of the family told ireports-ng.com.
The source added that the root of this strange ailment may not be unconnected to the bitterness of party members who believe that the embattled lawmaker was imposed on them because of his father’s influence in the state politics, adding that “this explains why Dayo’s problem is being kept secret.”
The afflicted lawmaker represents Kosofe federal constituency in the House of Representatives where he is the Chairman, House committee on Treaties and Agreements. Until his election into the House last year, he was a member of the Lagos state House of Assembly and prior to that he had worked as Special Assistant on Housing to former governor Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
His father, Alhaji Busura Alebiosu popularly called ‘Bush’ was the majority leader in the state House of Assembly during the administration of Alhaji Lateef Jakande. He has since then remained a formidable power broker and political godfather in the Kosofe area of Lagos.
