Over 30 Persons Killed In Yola Suicide Bomb Attack…Scores Injured

An explosion by a suicide bomber has killed more than 30 persons and several others injured late this evening near a tipper park in Jambutu bye- pass, Jimeta area of Yola, the Adamawa State Capital

The blast is coming barely 48 hours after the military said it uncovered a factory in Bama, Borno State, where Boko Haram manufacturers rockets and Improvised Explosive Devices.

Security men with rescue workers from the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) were evacuating victims of the blast at the time of filing this report. The incident is coming on the heels of the arrest of a Boko Haram kingpin, whose name was given as John Trankili at Kasuwar Shanu area of Maiduguri, Borno state.
